Things to Avoid When in the Gym

Regular exercise at the gym does not guarantee you get an athletic and fit body in no time.  Check out our article this week, and check if any of the following or more things you do often happen.

1. Go to the gym not for exercise.

You may often see people like this: coming to the gym in sportswear, but spending time looking at girls in yoga classes, busy chatting-or selfie-with their smartphones, even socializing (gossiping) at the gym. The more time you spend on things, the less time you spend on exercise. The result, do not expect a fit and athletic body will be yours in the near future.

2. Difficult move on.

No, not a move on with the former, unless the memory of him makes it hard to lift a barbell. What we mean by move on is related to your workout pattern in the gym. If you firmly run a treadmill at a speed of 7 mph, or faithfully use a 20 Kg load when bench press for more than 3 months, your body has been perfectly adapted. In effect, the sport you do will not be optimal, unless you increase the running speed or load force.

 

3. Spot Reduction only.

Chase sixpack just with sit ups? Most likely you will be disappointed, especially if you do not burn excess fat in your body first. You are more likely to get a sixpack if the first percent body fat to ideal, just start to train the muscles of the body, including the stomach.
